Double Drawing Secret Technique of Ninja Vanish

What is it?

The DDSToNv is a very rare technique that only few dared to learn and perfect. It consists of drawing something entirely with both hands, a pencil in each hand. Impossible? Why would it be? A lot of people think such a thing is impossible because they think humans can't focus on two things at the same time. Just look at instruments: pretty much all instruments require your two hands to play. Sure, the movements may be recorded in the memory but that's only for some people. No one ever said it was easy though. My goal here is to start from zero. What I mean is that when I started, I had no drawing skills whatsoever.

Steps:

Equilibrium

This step is crucial. You do not want to have half of your drawing crappy or having a hard time focusing because you constantly need to redraw the same lines again and again. Depending on your level, the more advanced you are, the more you will need to perfect every aspect of drawing: speed, precision, circles, shading, etc. If you are a beginner to drawing, just make sure your non-dominant hand doesn't slow down your dominant hand. When you start the next step, your hands are going to slow down by about 30-40% anyway.

Redraw

By now you should have developed the natural feeling of drawing with your non-dominant hand. If it is not the case, I seriously recommend practicing the last step as I have tried double drawing before and it was hell. The level of concentration will drop a lot just by being able to draw with ease; even if it looks ugly. In this step you have to draw one or two simple figures. Start with linear geometric forms (ie. squares, triangles, odd forms, etc.). You can either draw them big or small. Since you're starting, I suggest going with the small forms unless you are experienced with blind drawing. If you choose the small forms, I recommend creating two; one for the left hand and one for the right hand. Of course make sure it will take about the same amount of time to redraw both figures.
Important point: Avoid drawing parallel lines and lines of the same length. You need to be able to draw two different things at a time. Anyone can copy or mirror something with their other hand, so you'd be wasting time doing this.

Now take a pencil in both hands and redraw the lines of the figure over the old ones, and do not keep the same pattern. When you develop a certain ease, add more lines and curves. Now the major difficulty is focusing to make a good looking curve while avoiding to draw rounded corners on a linear figure at the same time.

Copying

I didn't include shading in the last step for the sole reason that you can't tell if you're shading properly after the first time. Now for this step, take your previous figure(s) and draw it/them from scratch. Again in different patterns so that you can develop real speed and precision. When you develop some ease, shade while your hand is drawing something else. Yes, it will look like crap at first, but practice makes perfect!

Double Draw

Here comes the real challenge. Draw anything you'd do normally, but with both hands. You also have the possibility of drawing two different things at the same time instead of focusing on one. If you're going to do that, make sure you practiced a lot blind drawing. The main disadvantage while double drawing is erasing. Once you get good enough you shouldn't even have to use erasers anymore anyway. Well, do your best and don't give up!
